Fun With Agility Beginner

This fun-filled workshop will introduce your dog to agility basics like jumps, tunnels, pause table, weave poles, etc. A great choice for the dog with boundless energy!

Cost: $150

Leash Manners

This workshop provides you with the tools to teach polite walking behavior. Having a dog that pulls you down the street and lunges after everything that moves can be embarrassing, frustrating, and exhausting. This workshop will focus on: walking management tools, attention skills (key to loose-leash walking success), reinforcing polite walking behavior, and what to do if your dog forges ahead of you.

Prerequisite: Prior training is not required, but strongly encouraged to get full benefit of workshop. Your dog should be responsive to their name and able to sit on cue. Dogs should be comfortable around unfamiliar people and dogs.

Come When Called

This workshop is designed to train a consistent recall – one of the most important skills to teach a dog. One day it might even save your dog’s life! This workshop will focus on: why dogs don’t come when we call them, establishing a recall cue, games to practice recall skills, and what to do if your dog doesn’t respond.

Prerequisite: Prior training is not required, but strongly encouraged to get full benefit of workshop. Your dog should be responsive to their name and able to sit on cue. Dogs should be comfortable around unfamiliar people and dogs.

No Jumping

This workshop is designed to give you the knowledge and tools to end problem jumping behaviors. The workshop teaches owners the following: why dogs jump and how to react when your dog jumps, effective and ineffective techniques to address jumping, how to identify what makes your dog jump, and how to avoid it, alternative behaviors such as sitting for greetings, four on the floor, and go to place, and management tools for training and everyday life.

Prerequisite: None. Dogs should be comfortable around unfamiliar people and dogs.

How To Tire Your Dog Without Putting Your Shoes On

This workshop will teach you how to use games, problem solving, and scent exercises to add mental stimulation to your dog’s daily routine. Mental enrichment makes your dog think and problem solve, which is also tiring. You will learn why enrichment is important, how to use every day items, how to set up a simple scent game, and more.

Nipping, Mouthing, Oh No! What can I do?

This workshop is focused on puppy nipping and mouthing by adult dogs. This workshop will help you to better understand why puppies and dogs engage in these behaviors, and what you can do to address it. Topics covered will include: dog developmental stages, why your dog performs this completely normal dog behavior, training tips, how to add mental enrichment to your daily routine, and identifying your dog’s exercise needs and how to meet them.

FUN Dog Tricks

This workshop shows you how to use basic training skills to teach your dogs some tricks. Tricks are a great way to provide mental exercise for your dog and have fun at the same time. In this workshop, you will learn the benefits of teaching tricks, how to teach simple tricks, and how to apply training principles to expand basic tricks into more complex ones.

Prerequisite: None. Dogs should be comfortable with people and unfamiliar dogs.
